When trying to debug the Any CPU console application, I received the following error. When I switched the platform target to x86, it worked fine. I tried to repair VS2010 and reinstall VS2010.

Except for a complete Windows reinstallation , Does anyone have a solution?
It works now, even though I haven’t done anything special to solve it recently. Maybe it’s http://www.hagrin.com/326/fixing-components-64-bit-debugger-are-not-registered-error, a mix of several Windows updates, reboots and a cup of coffee!
