Data model conversion into database

Generate database script according to DB design, “Database”-“Generate Database…”;

Set the script storage path and name, select “Direct generation”, select the configured data source, under “Selection” you can choose which data models to convert into tables (The data model of the table with data can be unchecked), and then click “OK”;

If it is not the first time to perform this operation, there will be an option of whether to overwrite, just select “Yes”;

Here will Go directly to the script execution interface. If the configured data source does not change the default database, you need to manually add a sentence of “USE DB_Name” before the script, as shown in the figure below, otherwise, you do not need to change the script. Click “Run” to see the execution report. You may encounter the problems mentioned in the following problem summary, please refer to “Problem Summary” to solve;

The first thing to do is to configure the data source. The default database is the database you want to convert into a data model;

Then “Database”-“Update Model from Database…”;

Select Configure the data source, and do the relevant configuration according to your own situation (you don’t need to change anything), and then “OK”;

Select the table to be converted into a data model and click “OK”;
