PowerDesigner16.5 Reverse Engineering, export PDM from the remote oracle11g database

Tools used in this article:

1. Remote database Oracle11g

2, powerdesigner16.5

First step:

< p>First open powerdesigner16.5, click New Model

Enter the model name and select the database Oracle11g

Step 2: Select the current model . Then in the menu bar database->configure Connections

In the pop-up window, click the Add Data Source button

Select system data source

Select Oracle Database Client Driver

Click Finish.

Enter Data Source Name, select TNS Service Name, enter UserID, and click Test Connection button

Enter the Oracle database user Name and password, click OK

The Connection Successful prompt pops up.

Then return to the Configure Data Connections interface, you will see that a Data Source named Oracle 11g has been added

第Three steps: Select Database–Update Model From Database on the menu

Select Using a data source, and then click the button on the right

Select the Data Source you just added from the drop-down list box: Oracle 11g, and then enter the username and password for Oracle login

Click Connect to connect to the database, and then it will display All tables in the database

Select the table to be exported as a model, and then click OK to execute the export operation
