PostgreSQL – Use postgres to set the ID array as the foreign key?

Similar to this question – Postgres creating a Table with an array of foreign keys

Any updates about this situation, even new ones with this feature Beta?

It is proposed to be used in Google Summer of code 2017 (https://summerofcode.withgoogle.com /archive/2017/projects/6341409154007040/)
It seems to be slowly moving in the right direction.

The current patch still has many limitations and is not fully prepared to merge, but hey , This is a good sign.

The latest update is 2017-11-13 about doing some refactoring code that is not easy.
