The installation and configuration of PowerDesigner connect to Oracle database
After unremitting efforts, I finally successfully connected powerdesigner to the database. I also encountered some problems in the middle. I hope to discuss with you. I won’t talk more nonsense, and the topic is here. . .
1. Install the oracle client locally
After decompressing the installation, I will not demonstrate one by one. The directory I installed is E:\APP

Open [file 】–>【Reverse Engineer】–>【Database】

Then [Next], and then click [Finish], the following dialog box pops up:

Click the final confirmation, the following dialog box pops up, the configuration is now complete, and you can do whatever you want.

Find the answer on the Internet but did not solve my problem: (I uninstalled the oracle client and reinstalled it)
[Find the ORACLE_HOME folder, right-click -> Properties -> Security, select Authenticated Users, check its properties, remove the Read and Execute check (the check is selected by default), click on the check, and then restart your machine. After running the program, the problem is successfully solved]
Question 2: Test connection error when using connection profile (not resolved yet)
