RAID1: A RAID or partition on each partition on RAID device?

What is more suitable for ordinary servers:

>Multiple partitions, which are bundled into multiple RAID1 devices (/dev/md0,/dev/md1, …), there is no unmirrored partition.
>A big /dev/md0, and the partition on this device

What are the biggest advantages and disadvantages of these two methods?
Is there a big difference? If the disk and partition settings are not changed frequently, which one is a better choice for a normal server?

I haven’t found any website to provide practical advice on this decision. The only thing I often read is: Don’t bundle /dev/hda/dev/hdb (without at least one partition) to RAID, because this will cause The kernel detects the RAID partition on the original /dev/hdX device.

“If the disk and Partition settings, what is the better choice for ordinary servers?”

In order to answer your question, there is a reason that there are many options for the disk array settings to choose from. Each scenario has its own Requirements, requirements/requirements, performance related issues, etc. If you want to publish the content that the server will use, it may be helpful.
