Allwinner VR9 application processor is a 64-bit quad-core SOC specially designed for the VR&AR market. It is based on ARMCortex A53, and has a high level of system integration and a combination of more powerful video playback functions and lower power consumption. In addition, the Allwinner VR9 solution has a dedicated ATW hardware acceleration module to reduce latency. It also supports spatial audio. All these design considerations will bring greater immersion and a better multimedia experience to the end user instead of most existing virtual reality solutions on the market.
In terms of software, the VR9 solution has been greatly optimized on the basis of the local Android system. A large number of vr-specific APIs and functions are provided, which helps to speed up the market speed of virtual reality systems. It can also support third-party controller products similar to Daydream Controller, which enables users to navigate and interact with the virtual world.
