Problem background: win10 64-bit system, built-in office2019, use mathtype7.4 , After installing the mathtype template in the “template”, restart the word “cannot load this loader MathPage.wll” pop-up window appears.
The key to the problem: Even if the office is 64-bit, MathPage.wll also needs 32-bit.
Solution steps:
First, because the directory installed by the office that comes with win10 is different from other directories installed by itself, first check the word startup folder and user template files The location of the folder.
You can view it in “Options->Trust Center->Trust Center Location->Trusted Location”, the process is as follows:
2. Put the template file in mathtype into the user template of word, and put the MathPage.wll file into the startup file of word.
The template file is in “MathType installation directory”\Office Support\64, such as D:\Program Files\MathType7.4\Office Support\64.
MathPage.wll file is in “MathType installation directory”\MathPage\32, such as D:\Program Files\MathType7.4\MathPage\32.
Three, add templates and wll files in the word add-in.
Operate in “Options->Add-ons->Manage: Templates, go to->Add”, as shown in the figure below:
4. Select the 2016 template and The wll file is fine. Maybe the wll file will not appear after adding the template, you can add the wll manually, or you can restart the word to add it by itself. Then there is no problem.
