I am renting two dedicated servers from a hosting company. Here are the specifications:

HP ProLiant DL165 G7
2x AMD Opteron 6164 HE 12-Core
40 GB RAM
HP Smart Array P410 RAID control
Install Debian on the software RAID (Lilo.conf configuration)
The Debian installer created lilo.conf:
boot=/dev/md1
root=/ dev/md1
raid-extra-boot=mbr-only However, when I configure lilo I usually put these lines
