RPA (Robot Process Automation) and RDA (Robot Desktop Automation) can be described as “good partners” in people’s daily work. They not only changed the way people work, but also greatly improved work efficiency and accuracy.

And RDA (“desktop RPA”) is to install robots on each PC desktop to automatically execute applications on the desktop. Its return on investment (ROI) is limited, and it can only automate the business of the PC-side staff, and the back-end business is also limited.
The choice between RPA and RDA depends on different considerations and different deployment requirements.
If you want to start importing from a small department, deploying RDA (“desktop RPA”) is relatively easy. The entry and management threshold is low, and it is as simple as deploying EUC (End User Computing).
If you attach importance to the deployment of the entire enterprise and IT governance, or to automate important business processes, you should choose RPA (“server-based RPA”). Because it can not only improve the efficiency of back-end operations, it can also be used for inter-company collaboration, inter-service collaboration, financial technology and the Internet of Things.
