1. Principles

< span style="font-size:24px;">First, the document introduces six principles, in order:

Principle 1: Maintain optimism, enthusiasm, confidence and energy

Principle Two:Ensure your effective time investment

Principle 3: Train your attention, stay focused, and study each material in depth

Principle 4: At the stage of cultivating ability, don’t rush for quick success, rush to speak English

Principle 5: ShortBrain, cut off the process of Chinese translation

Principle 6: Actively seek feedback and learn to make achievements Sense, make happiness

< span style="font-size:18px;">These six principles are divided into two categories:

1. Principle 1, Principle 2, Principle 3, Principle 6 are classified into one category (positive attitude to face, positive attitude and timely feedback In summary, focus on the effective investment of time)

These 4 principles mainly talk about the mentality of learning English , We must also summarize and feedback in time

2. Principle four and principle five are grouped together

These two principles are relative It’s the key point, introducing English thinking, ShortBrain and Emotion. So what are ShortBrain and Emotion?

ShortBrain which is the method we are currently using, It blocks Chinese thinking and directly connects pictures and voices. The emphasis is “Independent”: It means that English thinking is independent of Chinese thinking, and dependent English learning cannot communicate and grow. The training method will be mentioned later)

Emotion means emotion, Emotion is an inner feeling about things, and it is also the most direct intuition and impression of things. The Emotion is not narrow-minded, but It is the emotion generated by a thing itself: for example, the perception of it/Experience/cognition/memory. (Take just now as an example, I said apple, you will think of a picture of an apple, but after 0.1 seconds you should immediately think of your feelings for the apple: red, a little expensive, sweet, red is not necessarily good Eat, etc. In fact, to be more rigorous is to skip the stage of thinking about pictures and jump directly to the emotions for apples, just like we use Chinese to talk, in intense discussions, we rely on personal emotions to express our language , Not a picture, because there is no time to think about it. This is called Voice-Emotion mapping)

Speak English Thinking, what I said above is actually the combination of Emotion. To give you a guide, you will create a Voice-Emotion mapping, and the English thinking formed by combining them through the Emotion you created

Some people will ask again, what about Chinese thinking? , I want to say that theoretically we are required to block Chinese thinking, but we are adults, not babies, and have formed a complete thinking system. It is impossible to block Chinese thinking, but we can use Chinese thinking to transform into English thinking

AdultEmotionWhat needs to be done is to copy ChineseEmotion, this is equivalent to saying “Apple”, your ChineseEmotionIt may be “I used to eat often, but now I eat less, a bit expensive, most of it is sweet, sometimes sour, red is not necessarily delicious…” is transformed into “round, red and green< /span>,sweet,a little expensive, red may be not good……”, in short, copy your Chinese Senses, memory, experience. Then reuse the aboveEmotion.

Second, early stage, improvement period

Identify the sound by looking at pictures,TPRand other means to accumulate the reflection of thinking flash, sound and emotion to form a simple English thinking

During the raising period, I want to say one thing: the silent period is improving In the early and middle stages of the period, we have to listen to it, and in the later period we have to simply “speak” English. Here is a point to clarify: the silent period is not really silent, it also needs to be vocalized. Later, when you can understand simple paragraphs and simple dialogues, you can imitate and repeat some sentences and try to say it yourself.

Materials for practicing listening :
