I have many instances of jvm-process (Apache Spark). Everyone reports metrics to Graphite every 5 minutes while alive. I want to calculate the uptime of each process and calculate the cost The uptime of all processes in the week and this month.
Currently I have no luck finding a suitable method in Graphite or Grafana to calculate the time of each measurement. Maybe I need to use an external script.
The same It’s nice to display the average uptime in Grafana as a single statistics panel.
My question is a bit philosophical: how do you calculate a process based on its Graphite indicator Uptime?

It seems that this feature does not yet exist. But if your website is on a public network , Then Pingdom’s work is pretty good.
