Performance – Normal Operation Time using Graphite Grafana Measurement Services

My question is a bit philosophical: How do you calculate the uptime of a process based on its Graphite metrics?

I have many instances of jvm-process (Apache Spark). Everyone reports metrics to Graphite every 5 minutes while alive. I want to calculate the uptime of each process and calculate the cost The uptime of all processes in the week and this month.

Currently I have no luck finding a suitable method in Graphite or Grafana to calculate the time of each measurement. Maybe I need to use an external script.
The same It’s nice to display the average uptime in Grafana as a single statistics panel.

It looks like this feature Doesn’t exist yet. But if your website is on the public network, then Pingdom works pretty well.
