Is there a modern standard for creating a block diagram or flowchart?

On various pages on the Internet, I read information about flowcharts and tried to find information about block diagram symbols that can be used in various situations/contexts.

I found the standard created by ECMA-4 and IBM, but the first one is from 1966 and the second one is from 1970. This means that certain symbols are outdated, such as tape Symbol or punch card symbol.

I am curious whether there is a more modern standard.

I use Microsoft Visio, which allows you to access a complete library of different standards that you can use. Software, databases, etc. have complete parts.

Using the library provided by Visio, you can use I think the corresponding software engineering principles you are trying to apply to create UML class diagrams and/or entity relationship diagrams for your OO program and its related backends.

Look at this. This is the best solution I found Scheme.
