How to configure hardware RAID in PowerEdge 2850?

I just purchased the Dell Poweredge 2850 from Craigslist, and most of the time I am satisfied with its $300 price tag, but I can’t figure out where to configure the embedded hardware raid…… < p>

I saw on the Internet that you should click , but I never said that when starting my box. I have (I think) For LSI Logic configuration But this seems to be just programming SCSI and verifying the drives on my SCSI-A and SCSI-B. Anyone know what this RAID configuration is?

Are you sure you bought it with PERC? It is optional, it may not be there. Open the box and see what you have.

If you click F2 to enter the BIOS, you can also see the contents of the configuration there. I think it It may be physically present but disabled in the BIOS.

As you can see-the BIOS is configured to not use the RAID adapter. After enabling it, you will see the option to enter the SCSI BIOS or configuration.
