Amazon-WEB-SERVICES – View or calculate the request rate of the AWS S3 bucket?

I am trying to determine the current request rate of an existing AWS bucket to see how far or distance I am running to the standard request limit of 100 QPS on an S3 bucket. Ideally, I hope to see the request rate over time.

CloudWatch does not provide any information about this information, and there does not seem to be any way to retrieve this information for a bucket using the Ruby SDK.

Is there a way to view this information? Do I have to parse my S3 log and calculate it from the log file?

Currently, there is no service in AWS that can be used to calculate the request rate of AWS S3 buckets. In addition, There is no metric to calculate the request rate for you in AWS Cloud Watch. Therefore, the only option is to use AWS S3 log files to calculate the request rate.
