Visual-Studio-2010 – Solution Explorer does not display file after getting up to date

I am working with another developer and we are using TFS for source control. When he checks in files or folders, I can use Source Control Explorer to view them. I can Do a Get Latest, I can see the file or folder is pulled down to my local file system.

But if I go to my solution explorer, his new file Or the folder will not appear. I clicked refresh, I have got the latest information from the solution explorer, and I have got the specific version from the solution explorer.

Is there anything I What should be done to make them appear? Do I need to add an existing item every time I add content to source control?

Thank you,

Chris

Adding to source control is different from adding files to the project.

You should also be able to see these files on source control.

In order to be able to manage the solution resource To view the file in the browser, you need to add the file to the existing project through the “Add Existing Item” option.
