SL 4 version of hell? Install the matching version when the Silverlight developer is installed

I have been developing and running Silverlight 4 for about a week. A week ago, I installed the Silverlight 4 design-time component to develop and debug silverlight for VS 2010-I released some of these applications, And they are used by users running SL4. Today, I went to a website and told me to upgrade my SL (I think it is the MS expression site)-so I did this, and suddenly I was running the SL 4 application in VS 2010 I encountered this error.

Please install the matching version when the silverlight developer runtime is not installed

Installing the latest version of the Silverlight SDK cannot solve this problem. Basically I am stuck No, I can’t run Silverlight applications from VS2010.

Is such a version problem a common theme in SilverLight? The only thing I can think of is that there is a slight version difference between the version used on the MS Expression website and the version I installed from the MS website a few days ago (SL4)? However, reinstalling the latest version of SL4 will not solve this problem.

Does it help?

The developer runtime is different from the normal “end user” runtime.

To quote Tim Heur’s Blog again, you need to find the link to the developer runtime under “Get Updates”. This will allow you to debug etc.
