Video code – Handbrake stripped all my videos

This is my first time using HandBrake, because so far I have not been able to make any other encoder/converter work.

I heard HandBrake has a lot of good things, so I am disappointed because I can’t get it to work.

I have a 133MB WMV file, and I want to convert it to MP4 (h.254) for network… Unless all the videos are stripped when I run the conversion, and all I have left is the audio?

I only use the basic mp4 default settings.

Does HandBrake not support WMV files?

Edit: I use Windows Movie Maker as a quick and cheap way to add some subtitles to the video…This is how I end up with the WMV file.
If I just convert the original MOV file (from the camera) ) It seems to work fine.

has the same problem. When converting the WMV source file, I received Audio but no video. I updated Handbrake to ver. 0.10.0.6534 to solve this problem. After the update, I can see that the rendered frames and the expected time to complete the work are realistic. There is no problem with re-encoding. < /div>
