I What do I need to install for Silverlight development, and all these tools can be installed with my current “production” development machine (want to make sure that there will be no side effects).
I know I want to learn silverlight, But I don’t know which tools are needed and/or recommended to get started…

If you are already familiar with VS development, you can develop Silverlight in VS by downloading the Microsoft Silverlight tool for Visual Studio 2008.
If you are more of a designer than a devloper, then Microsoft Expression Studio may be better for you.
I already have Visual Studio 2008 team edition, and have MSDN subscription… I am an experienced ASP.Net developer.
